"Red Letter Occasions efficiently arranged my surprise retirement party, and boy, was I surprised and amazed! Amanda paid so much attention to every detail. My husband told me I was going to dinner at the Weston Golf Club but when I arrived, I saw all of my friends waiting to celebrate at tables draped in linen table cloths adorned with beautiful, red rose center pieces, and lit with simple white candles. She matched everything to the invitation - which she framed so I could see it - right down to the cake, seating cards, and a plate for guests to sign as a memory of the event for me. Everything was timed right from when guests arrived, to a cocktail hour, to dinner, to cutting the cake. My husband was pleased (since all he had to do was write a check!) and my guests were very impressed. After the event, Amanda sent me photos that she had taken during the event. "I worked with Amanda to plan a major corporate event held in New York City that involved months of preparation. I cannot say enough good things about her ability to plan and execute that event. From conception to reality, she took the time to understand what was truly important to us as a company. She helped us with vendor selection, venue selection, guest lists, and myriad other tasks before the event. Her creative ideas, such as purchasing a brick in the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway in Boston to honor the event, proved invaluable along the way. She thought of the little details, such as providing baskets of hand lotion, hair spray, and other incidentals in the washrooms for the guests. Prior to the event, we visited the venue in New York City, where she met with the staff responsible for the event and prepared for the guests to arrive. From name tags to the special frame guests were to sign, everything was clear and organized. Even the pens were arranged in a nice glass bowl! During the event, guests were clearly very happy, and both clients and employees had a good time. After the event, she ensured that all of our things were properly mailed back to our headquarters and that everything had gone smoothly.
